The Hives is a Swedish rock group with a worldwide reputation as a live band. Group front of the singer Howlin ‘Pelle Almqvist. The band members are all originally from Fagersta, and all is born between 1977-1978.

After formation in 1993, the group has had great success in Sweden and internationally. The Hives have been known for constantly touring, and to play frequently. In 2000 the group had done around 150 gigs.

The Hives have also distinguished themselves by dress uniform, not only on stage but also at the press conferences and other occasions interview band members usually behave uniformly dressed. Stage costumes of varying designs have always been black and white.

It becomes more and more Soundgarden. Yesterday they played at Lollapalooza in Chicago. It comes from Badmotorfinger-time and for any reason as it was then. Difficult to understand when you hear it now for the song is really good. Dark, heavy and groovy riffs with Cornell’s best vocal mode. There you go, he unfortunately did not sing anymore, I can not imagine it anyway. Such music is also no longer required.
